wordpress theme

My friend said I should have a red font color. I found some interesting reading reguarding font colors in HTML code; though I decided against it. If i’m having to teach myself HTML colors, then I am a bit premature on writing my own theme. How does the saying go, “Why create what you steal more easily”? Capitalizing on this profound and misquoted wisdom, I found that WordPress had a competition for themes for thier blogware. I went with red_train for the aforementioned reasons. This of course required ftp to the server which took some time to get right, it seems the OS X ftp through finder failed to work… yet again. Fetch 5.1b1 from MacUpdate.com seems to work well, though it pains me to pay for something that should be working out of the box. Fetch is free for students, kudos to my fellow nerds; I wonder if the prestigeious School of Hard Knocks counts. Damn, another thing, I gotta find a spell checking tool of some sort. As with most problems of generations X, Y and Z to which I belong… my personal defeciencies are someone elses fault. In this case my inability to spell is caused by my early exposure to spellcheck…

With this fancy new blog you see here it became clear I needed a good ftp client solution. At this point I have not found the right solution but I wanted to keep track of my adventures. So far I have found only one comprehensive list of Apple Mac OSX ftp clients and servers. To be clear, I am looking for something that provides the same functionality as something like FileZilla. Features like SFTP or FTP-SSL were not critical. The mirroring features were nice and kept me going through the software to find an alternative to the Darwin BSD OSX ftp command line. [...]
